The Journey of the Caregiver:  Opening to Love, Strength, and Acceptance

Is your loved one facing an illness?  Are you feeling overwhelmed as a caregiver?
Do you need inspiration and courage to help see you through this challenge?
Join Diana Saltoon, who has been through this journey herself, for an afternoon of community, support, healing and heartfelt discussion.  Together, we will explore
the trials, emotions, fears and frustrations that face us as we navigate through
this experience.  We will also discover the core of our existence where we may find
healing, peace, and compassion. There will be opportunity to share our stories,
as even in the last stages of an illness, there are gifts a patient imparts that
continually sustain and inspire loved ones left behind.
Diana Saltoon recently co-authored with her husband, Robert Briggs,
Wife, Just Let Go, a duo-memoir of an extraordinary love story that ended
in a journey of Alzheimer’s. Diana is also a teacher of the Way of Tea
and author of Tea and Ceremony: Experiencing Tranquility

Diana Saltoon, Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018,  3-4:30pm, $15
